BIN QASIM PARK

Bin Qasim park is a beachside park in Karachi. It is the largest park in the city and visited by over 10 million people each year. The park has a turtle pond , kids play area , murals of dinosaurs , 20 stone canopies and large rose garden. Many large public gatherings and events are frequently held due to its huge size of park grounds.

It is a well maintained park in the middle of the busy city.Take a walk around Bin Qasim park and admire the lush vegetation alongside the beach.Relax on the marble benches .

If you wanted to dine surround by nature ,bring a picnic basket and enjoy the views.

The park is located at BLOCK 3 of CLIFTON just in front of  CLIFTON BEACH.

MANORA ISLAND 

Manora island is a short ferry ride from Keamari ,the entrance to the Karachi`s busy port.There are food stalls around the beach , selling fresh fish in batter. The main reason to come to Manora island is to enjoy the sea breezes on the ferry trip out here. Boats in the harbour will also run longer trips for right fee.There is a lot of fun and best place to visit.

HISTORICAL PLACES IN KARACHI

1) QUAID-E-AZAM HOUSE 

It is an important National Monument in the heart of the city. The QUAI-E-AZAM HOUSE is also known as ''FLAGSTAFF HOUSE''. It is a museum dedicated to the personal life of QUAID-E-AZAM MUHAMMAD ALI JINNAH , the founder of Pakistan. It is the home of Jinnah who lived there until his death.Its a colonial era yellow stones glisten in the sunlight, in front of the structure a proudly hoisted Pakistani Flag flutters with the wind.
It is really a well known museum , well maintained in Karachi.you will get a free guided tour there and there is no entrence fee as well.Photography is not allowed inside the museum .Outside the museum ,you can see vintage cars that were in use of the founder`s sister.

MOHATTA PALACE 

Mohatta palace is a museum ,built in the posh seaside Clifton by SHIVRATAN CHANDRARATAN MOHATTA.It offers a diverse range of activities for both casual and informed visitors.
It is a great place to visit if you are interested in the history .It has luxurious rooms used today as an art gallery . This palace exhibits treasures and other collections .Whole palace is full of airy gardens.

* CHARNA ISLAND :

If u love all things sea,then Charna Island ,which is only a 2 hours drive away from  Karachi ,must visit there! Here you can swim, snorkel and scuba dive around the island reefs.The underwater world near this island had plenty of species that really allures the divers.
Many tourist visit there in winters for adventure activities like Snorkeling , Cliff diving , Scuba diving , Superfishing , Fishing and underwater photography with tour operator.
       To reach charna island you first need to reach mubarak village , which is  around 1 hour drive from the city.Charna island is an hours boat ride from mubarak village. Boats are used as transport boats but are clean and well kept.
It is a great addition to the karachi`s tourism scene.

4)PAF MUSEUM :

 If you like aircrafts then must visit Pakistan Air Force Museum.It is a home to many aircrafts like planes ,jets and radars that have been used by Pakistan Air Force .There are World War 1 and 2 scale models and some modern planes on display as well.There are also food options in main park and many places to relax in garden.
There are four sub galleries inside ; one depicts the history of welfare through model aircraft and paintings while the other one shows the achievements/ history of PAF Bases through rare photographs ans paintings.
A canteen caters for small needs of visitors.Cold drinks, mineral water , beverages and snacks are available at market rates. A fun land for children with swings and merry-go-rounds is also available.It is a unique experience to the visitors.

• Friday timings of PAF Museum are from 03:00 pm to 09:00 pm

The price and rates of entry tickets for PAF museum are as follows:

• Ticket for Adults to enter in the PAF Museum, Karachi is Rs.50.
• Ticket for Children is Rs.30.

 CLIFTON SEA VIEW 

Finally Why Karachi is the greatest city in Pakistan? Because it has the sea.Damn it!! For those who visit Karachi for the first time ,the famous Clifton Beach gets you much excited! It is humongous with a plethora of camels , childrens ,families and tourists.It is a popular hangout spot for childrens and families on Sunday or on other holidays .
The beach has many attractions for tourists which include families  and individuals of all ages. There is a nearby amusement park which has all the fun rides that you can ever see in the high voltage amusement parks . People on the beach enjoy camel rides and horse rides etc which is very much inexpensive .Just recently , Tri Bikes are becoming the new buzz in beach  which attracts a lot of youngsters.
The beach is ideal for picnics.If you go deep down on the right side of  the Seaview point then you will see nearly a hundred fine-dine restaurants straight in a line..Whenever you feel stress ; just go to this beach!

MAZAR E QUAID 

Museum is not a sign to miss when you are  in Karachi ! It is a resting place for country's founder Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.Quaid e Azam passed away in Quetta but a place choosen for tomb was Karachi as he was given birth there.Mazar e Quaid is one of the worth seeing place in Karachi.
